２０２６年４月１９日（日）、今年も江の島ヨットクラブ主催の第２３回ノルウェー フレンドシップ ヨットレース観戦にご招待いただき、NJSも参加させていただきました。
On Sunday, April 19, 2026, we, NJS, were invited to watch the 23rd Norway Friendship Yacht Race hosted by the Enoshima Yacht Club this year again, and were happy to be participated.
⛵午前９時に小田急線片瀬江の島駅に集合、右手に富士山を望みながら弁天橋を渡り江の島に向かいました。
We met at Odakyu Line Katase-Enoshima Station at 9 a.m., and while looking at Mount Fuji on our right, we crossed Benten Bridge and headed toward Enoshima.
⛵午前１０時過ぎ、大型帆走クルーザー「やまゆり」★にて江の島ヨットハーバーを出航。
A little after 10 a.m., we set sail from Enoshima Yacht Harbor on the large sailing cruiser 'Yamayuri'★.
⛵NJSからは、合計１７名が「やまゆり」に乗船しました。
Total 17 people from NJS were on board 'Yamayuri'.
⛵江の島や遠くに富士山を背景にして、ヨットレースが繰り広げられました。波も穏やかで初夏を思わせる 天気と清々しい海風に吹かれながら、船上からレース観戦を堪能しました。
Against the backdrop of Enoshima and Mount Fuji in the distance, the yacht race unfolded. With calm waves and weather reminiscent of early summer, and being blown by the refreshing sea breeze, we really enjoyed watching the race from the cruiser.
⛵「やまゆり」のクルーの皆様には、操船の傍らとても親切にガイドして頂きありがとうございました。
To all the crew of 'Yamayuri', thank you very much for kindly guiding us while also handling the ship.
⛵約２時間のクルーズを終え１２時過ぎに無事帰港、船上で記念撮影です。
After completing the approximately two-hour cruise, we safely returned to port just past 12 o'clock, and took a commemorative photo on board.

★帆船「やまゆり」について
１９６４年（昭和３９年）の東京オリンピックのヨット競技の警備艇として１９６２年に建造された歴史ある木造帆船。「湘南の貴婦人（Lady Shonan）」の愛称で親しまれる国内最古の木造帆船。2025年日本船舶海洋工学会から「ふね遺産」に認定されました。全長１３．３０ｍ、 幅３．９４ｍ、総トン数１９．６トン、 乗船定員数３０名
★About the sailing ship 'Yamayuri'
A historic wooden sailing ship built in 1962 as a security boat for the sailing events of the 1964 (Showa 39) Tokyo Olympics. Known by the affectionate nickname 'Lady Shonan,' she is the oldest wooden sailing ship in Japan. In 2025, she was designated as a 'Ship Heritage' by the Japan Society of Naval Architects and Ocean Engineers. She has an overall length of 13.30 meters, a width of 3.94 meters, a total tonnage of 19.6 tons, and a passenger capacity of 30.
