Kirin Beer Yokohama Brewery Tour & Social Gathering at Kirin Yokohama Beer Hall
2026年9月12日、土曜日の午後、初めての企画として、キリンビール横浜工場の見学及びビアホールでの懇親会を催しました。
キリンビール横浜工場は、日本ではじめて産業として継続的にビールを製造した「日本ビール産業の祖」、ノルウェー出身のウイリアム・コープランド（William Copeland 1834-1902）が1870年に横浜・山手に建てたビール醸造所「スプリングバレー・ブルワリー」の流れを汲むビール工場で、今年でちょうど操業100年を迎えました。
On the afternoon of Saturday, September 12, 2026, we held our first event, a tour of the Kirin Beer Yokohama Factory followed by a social gathering at the beer hall.
The Kirin Beer Yokohama Factory traces its roots back to the Spring Valley Brewery, built in 1870 in Yamate, Yokohama by William Copeland (1834-1902) from Norway, who is known as the 'father of the Japanese beer industry' for being the first to continuously produce beer as an industry in Japan. This year, the factory celebrates exactly 100 years of operation.

The tour starts with a welcome message from Factory Manager Fujiwara in the theater room.
ビールの原料である大麦を試食、ホップの香りを体験。仕込釜と仕込釜の中を疑似体験。Tasting the barley used for beer and experiencing the aroma of hops. A virtual experience inside the brewing kettle.
待ちに待った「一番搾り」の試飲コーナー。3種類の「一番搾り」と横浜工場100周年記念ビールを楽しみました。
The long-awaited 'Ichiban Shibori' tasting corner. We enjoyed three types of 'Ichiban Shibori' and the Yokohama Factory 100th Anniversary beer.

工場敷地内にある「キリン横浜ビアホール」にて様々な種類のビールを、心行くまで楽しみました。 At the 'Kirin Yokohama Beer Hall' located on the factory premises, we enjoyed all kinds of beer as much as we wished.
美味しいビールでほどよく酔いがまわったところで“Ichiban！”
