京都女子大学 生活デザイン研究所より、ノルウェーの伝統木工・建築保存技術に関するイベントのご案内をいただきました。場所は京都になりますが、入場無料とのことです。皆様是非足をお運びください。

本イベントでは、ノルウェーから伝統建築や伝統船の保存修復に携わる専門家を迎え、ノルウェーにおける建築保存や伝統技術の実践についての講演が行われます。

後半には、ノルウェーと日本の職人によるパネルディスカッションも予定されており、両国の伝統技術の交流と、その意義について考える貴重な機会となっています。

[External Event] Traditional Norwegian Woodworking Techniques – Exchange of Traditional Skills between Norway and Japan

The Norway-Japan Society has received information from the Kyoto Women’s University Research Institute for Living Design about an upcoming event focusing on traditional Norwegian woodworking, architectural preservation, and craftsmanship.

The event will welcome two specialists from Norway who are engaged in the preservation and restoration of traditional architecture and wooden vessels. They will give talks on the practice and philosophy of preserving traditional skills in Norway.

The second part of the event will feature a panel discussion with craftspeople from Norway and Japan, exploring the exchange of traditional techniques between the two countries and its significance.
